The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) are the first of a series of competitions in high school mathematics that determine the United States team for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Mr. Kalnins’s teams win awards in Math Olympiad

IvyBoost’s senior math tutor, Mr. Paul Kalnins entered two teams in the 7th/8th Grade Math Olympiad for the San Joaquin County competition on Saturday, May 17, 2014.  There was a total of 28 competing teams and awards were given to the the teams in the top five.  Mr. Kalnin’s Math Olympiad teams placed in 5th and 2nd. Congratulations to Mr. Kalnin’s and his teams on their achievement!
