Open House Report
On May 21, 2011, Ivyboost hosted its Open House event in its Fremont facility with quite a few families and students. Ivyboost’s founder and instructors presented the introduction of Ivyboost Education and its mission and philosophy, as well as subject tutoring highlights over Math, English, Science and SAT test preparation. Families and students met and talked to the tutors about the subjects in their interests, and raised some questions about how the tutoring would be conducted in the summer. Several families even signed up with our top notch tutors for the private tutors immediately with focus on finals preparation and problems review for the current school year subjects. The team of instructors including Dr. John Patrick from UC Berkeley, Dr. Melanie Yelton from Stanford, Dr. George Sliter from UIUC, Rebecca Stellato from Stanford, Aaron Lee from UC Berkeley and Alex Lee from NYU joined the Open House. All attendees enjoyed a pleasant afternoon talking about high school learning, tests and college application planning with music and refreshments.
