Georgetown University

  1. BASIC CODING & DATA SCIENCE INSTITUTE

Suitable for high school students who are new to computer programming. Students will learn about creating basic web pages, data analysis, and more, and will visit a famous Washington-based high-tech company.

Hosted by Arizona State University for five days. In addition to learning engineering, students will also visit research laboratories, participate in interesting hands-on projects, and discuss with faculty, on-the-job engineers and ASU students.

Dates: Summer 2020 camp dates will be released in November 2019.

Held at the Admiral Farragut Academy in Florida’s boarding school. Students study pre-university courses on topics such as aviation and engineering, participate in activities such as diving, and even obtain high school credits.

Dates: June 20 to August 1, 2020.

Barnard College is a women’s liberal arts college that offers high school girls the opportunity to take a college course and experience the vibrant life of New York. There are many summer camp activities, and students can choose their own.

The two-week, summer-study program at the University of Miami, Ohio is a highly intensive course taught by top Miami teachers and experts to provide early university experience for interested students. In engineering projects, students will delve into engineering and computing by designing and manufacturing computer-controlled robots.

Duration: 2 weeks.

Students will learn high-performance computing, build and operate their own “supercomputers”, learn 3D visualizations, computer animations and mobile device applications, and will also visit the US Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory. Encourage students with a computer background to apply, but no computer background is fine.

Location: University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.

Dates: June 27 to July 11, 2020.
