What Will be New on the 2015 MCAT?

The MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is a multiple-choice exam which many U.S. medical colleges require from potential med students. People who are eligible to take the MCAT exam should be preparing to apply to a health professional school, including schools for fields like podiatric and veterinary medicine.

Currently, sections of the MCAT cover the physical sciences, biological sciences, and verbal reasoning.

However, in Spring 2015, several additions will be made to the MCAT exam.

Other than the usual sections on physical and biological sciences, the new MCAT will also include a portion of test questions devoted to psychological, social, and biological foundations of behavior.

More information on the MCAT (new and old) can be read on the website of the Association of American Medical Colleges.
