What to Do the Day Before the SAT

For students taking the SAT this Saturday, how can you make the best use of the 24 hours before the test? Some of these tips below may help!

1. What should you bring?
Go through College Board’s SAT checklist carefully and pack it in a backpack the night before to reduce panic on the morning of the test.

2. Where are you going?
Double-check the address for your test center, and make sure you know how you will get there, whether by walking, by bus, or by car. If there are any special circumstances, like carpooling with a classmate, check that everyone knows what time they will be picked up to go to the test center.

3. How much sleep do you need?
The night before the SAT should be a night for giving your mind and body a good rest. Some online resources like Sleep Calculator claim to be able to figure out the optimal time for you to wake up after a good night’s sleep.
